The approaching summer months have a way of getting people off the couch. Beach anticipation can cause anyone to start chasing the desired waistline or perfect weight. Try harnessing your beach body motivation and channel it into some appropriate, realistic and flexible goals.
It’s easy and fun to set unrealistic goals, but try not jumping into Rocky Balboa’s training regimen. Set short term objectives that will help you reach your long term goals. Short term objectives can be daily, weekly, or even monthly. Making your goal attainable is the largest measure for success; for example, don’t strive for the daily workout if you’re accustom to working late three days per week. First, succeed in achieving a realistic and weekly objective of say, running 3 miles. Once you’ve achieved the 3 miles in one week, try to raise the bar on your second week. Feelings of success and achievement have a way of helping you reorganize your time.
